Our Ancient Past There is more proof popping up every day which indicates the ancients had far more knowledge about what the world looked like than we thought. Recently a 5,000-year-old map was said to turn up which showed the continents. From what I have seen in photos it showed North and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and possibly Australia. If this map really exists, and I say this because of all the fraudulent photos out there, it just reinforces other evidence showing travel took place around the world. We are finding physical evidence in places which prove this. The problem I have with the map is it is too perfect in depicting the shape of the continents, which causes me to suspect it may not be real. Isn’t it sad we now have to be so suspicious of all the so-called photographic evidence? I am very interested in what is happening in space, but I find the discovery of ancient sites also fascinating. I have come to the conclusion there could have been a very ancient advanced race we know nothing about which was responsible for teaching certain skills to our ancestors. Those skills were lost in the sands of time. Some had to do with the ability to move huge stones weighing many hundreds of tons which are beyond the ability of our machines today. Another skill they may have passed along was the ability to navigate. Clearly some ancient races had this ability and left clues of their presence in many different places. The last thing I want to mention about this is how so many different countries around the world, built pyramids. Could this be another skill which spread to so many places? No one mentions this but there be a difference in pyramids? The Egyptian pyramids seem to indicate to some they were really power plants and residues of chemicals were found which could be used to create electricity. Could some other pyramids in different places have been copies which didn’t have this ability and were more along the lines of a cargo cult. In other words, were they built to only be used for worship? Obviously, the pyramids in South and Central America are definitely pyramid shape, but it doesn’t seem they had any other use, except possibly for astronomy. While not everyone agrees with the power station theory, there has been a story going around for years and whistleblowers have testified that there is a pyramid underground in Alaska which is still broadcasting power. There are sites in China which archaeologists are having a hard time dating. For example, the Paleolithic site complex in Bashan could be anywhere from 10,000 to 100,000 years old. Our system of dating objects certainly is not perfect and it has led to at least some scientists being unwilling to date things further back than they think was possible. It could turn out humans were around a lot longer than we presently think. In a way it is unfortunate our world is so dynamic and destroys or hides objects and structures which go back in time too far. Even mountains disappear. The earth is said to be 4.5 billion years old, but there are those who think it could be much older. Mountains can last for hundreds of millions of years before they disappear, but that time is just a drop in the bucket of the planet. If the earth is 4.5 billion years old or 10 times that there was plenty of time for other civilizations to appear and disappear. There could have been other, even human, intelligent races on the planet and they might have left some ancient knowledge which was found millennium ago and then lost. That could account for the mysterious abilities of some of the ancients. How would this info have been related to ancient races? I have to think by pictures which were created for step-by-step processes. As they say a picture is worth 1,000 words. This begs the question, is our ancient history correct? It is beginning to look like there is a lot more to it than we suspected. After years of reading about discoveries I have come to the conclusion we are just plain wrong about some things. One of those things is farming. The latest facts indicate there were more than just hunter gatherers around when the temples were built over 12,000 years ago at Gobekli Tepe in Turkey. It took a long time to build the temple complexes there and the game would have run out far before the complexes were finished, so they must have been growing their own food. When we find ancient ship wrecks in fresh water they are sometime very well preserved because of the lack of oxygen at the bottom and also the water being fresh, lacks the corrosive salt of the ocean. Here is my question, could we find even more ancient craft if we dug down under the bottom in some of these places? I guess we would need some way to be able to detect them, which might be some sort of underwater radar we could roll along the bottom, but right now no one would ever attempt this, believing it is an expensive losing proposition. Another area which could probably do with more exploration is underground. We have seen how underground cities have been constructed in countries like Turkey. Who is to say that there are not underground structures or cities yet to be found in other places. We know some exist in Spain, and Tunisia and other underground areas created by mining in Ukraine, Poland and elsewhere. Spain has Setenil de las Bodegas, Tunisia has Matmata. I am sure when these were found, it was a big surprise. Who knows what the oceans of the world are hiding. I am not talking about extraterrestrial bases and such, but that is another story. I am talking about cities which sunk into the ocean for one reason or another. The are stories about some we know about and one story about a temple in India was thought to be just a tall tale, that is until a tsunami hit the country and when they hit, the water recedes at first and when that happened the temple was exposed just before the wave hit. We have learned that some of the stories we thought to be fiction turned out to be true. Mycenae turned out to have existed as did Troy, among other places. It does make me wonder what other places thought to be mythical really existed.
